Alpha-H Liquid Gold: The King of Good Times
I am kind of frozen for a split second in front of the mirror every morning now a days. As if I have just stepped in a fairyland and my most dreamt dream has just come true. That's the kind of magic Alpha H's Liquid Gold sprinkles on my skin. Up until I met this gem, I never knew if it was ever possible to feel like this about my skin. Pheewww I sound like a narcissist.
Bloggers all over world are crazy for this product and the raving reviews this product has been having made me add it to my shopping basket a month ago. And it was a decision that has changed my life forever and for the best. This newbie in my skincare stash is no way a newbie in its results and gives a head-to-head tussle to all the best bits out there in the beauty realm. And without a tad of a doubt this one emerges as an undoubted winner. Well it works hard and smart to make my lethargic and tired skin liven up just in a night. Now, it was certainly hard to bestow my absolute faith in a plastic bottle but the results tied my wagging tongue when it give my skin a new life. The King of Good Times a.k.a. Liquid Gold, has given me a good skin.
I admit I am a little late on the Liquid Gold bandwagon but its better late than never. The product’s heart lies in the presence of Glycolic Acid which belongs to the Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) group. It is found naturally in sugar cane and grapes and is commonly used in skin care treatments including acne treatment, exfoliation, and chemical peels.
How it works?
It reacts with the top layer of skin, and works by breaking down the glue that bonds dead skin cells. Dead skin cells, which contribute to clogged pores and dull skin, can then be rinsed away. Liquid gold makes the skin work hard which in turns jump starts its metabolism and the result is tightened pores and a perkier complexion.
How to use?
I apply it every alternate evening before going to bed. The trick is simple, moisten a cotton pad with solution and apply onto cleansed face, neck and décolletage. I do feel a slight tingling sensation but nothing out of ordinary. It is very bearable and fades off as the product dries out. If and whenever I can, I do not follow with a night serum or moisturizer but if the skin is feeling dehydrated or sensitive, I follow it up with a light serum. If your skin is very sensitive or in any way inflamed by acne, I don’t suggest using it without seeing a dermatologist.
This has become my holy grail go-to exfoliator now and the results have left me gobsmacked. Clear complexion, reduced pigmentation, tightened pores and no occurrence of any sort of acne since I started using it and consequently no blemish what so ever.
