Aromachologie Looks like an Attractive Option to Restore Balance
I am an all the way soap person so anything new on the horizon in terms of texture, oils, or colour and I am all for it. So when the new EDM from L’Occitane popped into my inbox the other day, it had my name written all over it. It said Black Soap and I was like hell yeah, have to have it and there I wasat the Westfield Chatswood L’Occitane Store on Victoria Ave, a couple of hours later during my lunch break,
I really like how they offer you a small hand ritual ever time you go to L’occitane Store and this time around was no different. The girl at the store scooped a ton of the black Soap and massaged on my hand, in retrospect she could have done with a forth of it and it wouldn’t have taken me yonks to get it off my hands. I was in fact quite deterrent because the first thought trotting through my mind was what if I am not able to get it off my back or something but I know me and when I am willing to give something a go; I would, no matter how hard the going gets.
So I knew I would pickup the soap. And the new face mask in the rebalancing range looked promising so when the girl at the store told me that If I spent a total of 80 bucks, she would throw in a free goodie bag, I was up for it. She quickly demo-ed the mask at the back of my hand, rinsed it off after a couple of minutes and my hand felt really really soft. At the time I wasn’t sure, if it was the black soap or the mask but anyways I bagged both of them and scurried back to the office.
It’s been a week now and I have given these products a good go, to be precise thrice and I am very pleasantly surprised. Indeed, the Aromachologie Rebalancing Black Soap has arrived for good and unless L’Occitane decides to discontinue it, it has reserved a stable place on my bathroom shelve. It looks like a jelly, goes on like a thick Jam and just a tad bit is enough for the whole body. I warm it up between both the hands and then just massage it on damp body.
Almost instantly, the eucalyptus in it has a calming and invigorating and the scent is simply put heavenly. The olive oil leaves the skin smooth and nourished looking but I do have to go over with a moisturizer later on.
The Aromachologie Rebalancing Face Mask is quite a discovery. It looks like a pale grey chalky textured paste and to be honest I wasn’t expecting miracles from it but when it left my skin super soft like the bum of a baby, I was awestruck. It instantly brightened the complexion and had a smoothening effect in just under 5 minutes. That’s is what I love about this mask as it is quick and handy enough to be used during the work week and all it asks is 5 mins of your time to give you a smooth, soft, brightened complexion and tightened pores. This one also has the balancing aromas but nothing too strong to bother the skin or nose.
I used it on weekdays when I was too tired in the morning to make it to office. A warm shower and some rebalancing gear fixed all my mood tantrums. Don’t take my word for it, go and get a hand ritual or grab a sample and I am sure you’d end up loving them.
