Looks Like a Long Haul Wishlist is about to Come True
We have some incredible Australian skincare brands that have taken the world by storm. My skincare is brimming with chart-toppers like Liquid Gold from Alpha-H, Rosewater Balancing Mist from Jurlique, Aesop’s Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque, MV Organics' 9 Oil cleansing Tonic and so on but there is something to the whole "grass is greener on the other side” that gets to me from time to time and piles up as “a long haul wish list”. By long haul I mean a journey that originates in UK and during the course, the products are subjected to stress of the unknown and they fly over the Indian ocean to meet their fate i.e me. Doesn’t sound very promising for the products eh?
I am a Mecca Beauty Loop L3 but I do wish that we had our own cultbeauty.com.au or SpaceNK that shelves beauty bits that our brit counterparts show off casually. So after a whopping internet session and numerous Chrome tabs, I have whipped up a wish list of skincare titbits that will end up on my bathroom shelve sometime during the next quarter.
First up is Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel – I have heard my fav. beauty bloggers Anna from VDM and Lily Pebbles go on and on about how incredible this creation is, so it is high time I add it to my cultbeauty basket and get its pretty ass shipped down under. This one already has a reserved spot next to my Eve Lom Morning Cleanser.
Next up is Tata Harper’s Regenerating Cleanser and Rejuvenating Serum – I could buy this one just for the sake of its packaging but let’s not get carried away solely based on the looks. Heavyweight skincare blogger Caroline Hirons has sung laurels of this range time and time again and so this one will soon find itself on a one way ticket to Sydney.
Zelens Daily Defence Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is a one of a kind product. Who hasn’t seen Dr. Marko Lense's and Carolina’s elaborate video on sunscreen and who could resist buying this product in their sane mind? That winds up cult beauty basket.
A quick glance at feelunique.com made the list went go on and on but I have narrowed it down to just these two that will make it through the first cut from feelunique.com.
Sarah Chapman's Overnight Facial and Intense Hydrating Booster are freaking expensive cult products. These are very coveted product and has been reviewed over and over by our UK Complements. They promise big things and in a hope that they will deliver results on my Aussie sun beaten skin, they too will have to pack their bags soon.
I have been ogling these products for a while now and sooner than later they will be the first big check-mark in the ever increasing wishlist!
